Motorola Moto Z2 Play benchmarks available at Geekbench, specs confirmed too

The successor to last year’s premium device, Moto Z Play, from Motorola is known as Moto Z2 Play. We have been hearing rumors about the device specs since the beginning of the month. Well, now the Motorola Moto Z2 Play benchmarks are available at Geekbench and specs are kind of confirmed too.

Just a few days back the images and specs of Motorola Moto Z2 Play were leaked at TENAA. These are in harmony with the specs revealed at Geekbench. For the starters, we already know and the thing that has remained constant in all the leaks and rumors is that the device will come preinstalled with Android 7.1.1. Geekbench specs also say the same.

However, there was a confusion regarding the processor in Motorola Moto Z2 Play, whether it will be the recently launched Snapdragon 660 or Snapdragon 626. Going by the Geekbench specs, the device will be powered by last year’s Snapdragon 626 having 8 cores clocked @ 2.21 GHz.

Moreover, the device will not feature 3GB RAM, instead, it will come with bigger 4GB RAM. Although Geekbench specs say nothing about the battery, recent leaks suggest that the battery will be downgraded from 3510mAh to 2820mAh on the Moto Z2 Play.
