Motorola makes fun of poor Apple Maps app

It’s not often that Apple messes up, but when it does, people love to take the chance to berate them for it. Apple moved away to its own Maps on iOS 6 and iPhone 5 from Google Maps, but these Maps left much to be desired and have been a constant target of mockery from the public.

Now, even Motorola is officially jumping on the mock train and has released an image that makes fun of Apple’s Maps on their Google+ page. The image shows an iPhone 5 running Apple’s Maps with “#iLost” written under it, and an image of a DROID RAZR M next to it running Google Maps, letting people know that Google Maps will get you to your desired destination, while the iPhone 5 will not.

Google is now the owner of Motorola (at least the mobile unit), so it needs no explaining that it is probably an attack by Google themselves, though with Motorola as the middleman. What do you think? All in good fun or a bit too much? Do let us know in the comments!
