A few days ago we reported that Motorola is finally rolling out the Nougat update to the Moto X Play. As it turns out, the Lenovo-owned company hasn’t rolled out the update just yet.
Motorola India, in response to a user’s query, confirmed that the Moto X Play will indeed get the Nougat update. However, it didn’t reveal when that’s going to happen.
It’s exact tweet read “Nougat will come to the Moto X Play soon, however, we are unable to provide a definite release date.”

The update has already been long overdue and on top of that, delay in launch is quite disappointing for the Moto X Play users.
On a positive note, however, we can expect the company to push the update soon to all the Moto X Play users in the country. We will update you with more details as soon as we get hold of something credible. Until then keep a tab on this space.
