Moto Z Play Android 7.0 Nougat update delayed till March, Moto G in February

Motorola Moto Z Play Android 7.0 Nougat update which was expected to release by the end of January seems to have met a roadblock as the company’s official Twitter handle just confirmed that the update has been delayed until March.

The update was also expected to hit Moto G family of devices, Moto G4, G4 Plus and G4 Play, by the end of January. But as it seems now, the update has been scheduled to release in mid-February or by the end of the month.

It’s disappointing to see the Nougat update being delayed, more so because we know that Motorola has the update ready for Moto Z Play as the company rolled out Nougat update in Portugal last week.

Also, the Moto G4 and G4 Plus were among the first Motorola devices to get Android 7.0 Nougat firmware. And the update for these devices have been out in most parts of the world but not in Germany yet.

Hopefully, the updates arrive as scheduled at-least now.
