Moto X Style and X Pure Nougat update spotted on GFXBench

Two of Motorola’s X series devices will soon get bumped up to Android Nougat. Moto X Style and X Pure have been spotted on benchmarking site GFXBench running Android 7.0 Nougat.

The GFXBench listing reveals the firmware labelled as Motoblur while the model number of the devices XT1570 and XT1572 confirm that these indeed are Moto X Pure and X Style. Another device with model number XT1575 has also been listed which is Moto X Style (Pure Edition), thus hinting that both the variants will be receiving the Nougat update soon.

Motorola, in February, had announced that it will roll out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to all the Moto X series devices in May. The Moto X series includes Moto X Style, X Pure, X Force and X Play. And now with Moto X Style and X Pure spotted running Nougat on GFXBench, it seems that the official release of the new OS build is just round the corner.

  5. Before Lenovo bought Moto, the updates were very quick. Weeks after the nexus devices. And had to be since they run stock android and there’s not much need for modification or adaption because of near stock experience.
Now it has indeed gotten really slow under lenovo
