A new stock Android Nougat firmware is available for the Moto G4 and the G4 Plus. The new firmware is applicable for the Moto G4 XT1624 and the G4 Plus XT1643. The firmware carries build number NPJ25.93-11.
It must be noted that the updates should be installed only on the supported models. If you own a Moto G4 device with a different model number, then do not install/flash this firmware to your device.
Grab the full firmware zip from our Moto G4 and G4 Plus firmware download page. The firmware is meant to be installed manually via Fastboot, and is also helpful in restoring your device back to stock Nougat firmware when needed.
Several variants of the Moto G4 and G4 Plus have already received the Nougat update. Some regions are yet to get the update, such as Germany, where it should be available by the end of this month.
