After visiting the FCC a few weeks ago, the Moto E4 Plus has now visited the Geekbench throwing light on some of the key aspects of the smartphone.
As per the Geekbench listing, the smartphone will come with Android 7.0 Nougat straight out-of-the-box. It will be powered by a quad-core 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage space.
Previously, the smartphone was rumored to come with up to 4GB of RAM, but there’s no sign of such huge amounts of RAM on Geekbench listing. Perhaps, the company could launch multiple variants with different memory configurations.

Optics-wise, the smartphone will come with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP shooter on the front. There will be a 5-inch FWVGA display at the front as well.
The Moto E4 is expected to draw fuel from a 2,800mAh battery to keep the lights on. There are also rumors suggesting that the Moto E4 Plus (the bigger sibling of Moto E4) will feature a whopping 5,000mAh battery.
Both the Moto E4 and E4 Plus have been in the news for a while now and have already been cleared by various certifications sites which indicate that their official launch is nearing.

I agree, it seems so weird to have android 7.0 and such low end specs. Geekbench seems to think the same.
Probably so that they don’t disappoint the consumers Cus nougat is everyone’s dream Right now
I think the low specs are justified because it will be a very budget phone but why a FWVGA display these days when even LCD and AMOLED panels are getting really cheap. That seems like a really big compromise on their part and will surely keep me from recommending this phone to friends and family.
