Motorola is working on a successor to Moto E3, dubbed as the Moto E4, which has hit the headlines now and then. After receiving FCC certification, the device has popped up on WiFi Alliance now giving us all the more reasons to believe that it could be launched anytime soon, maybe within a month.
Listed as model number XT1723, the Moto E4 is seen running the Android 7.0 Nougat OS. Other than the software, the WiFi listing does not help us in gathering more info about the device.
So, turning our attention to FCC, where it landed in the month of March, we get to know that the Moto E3’s successor will pack in a 4000mAH battery which is clearly an upgrade from Moto E3’s 3500mAH.

Other rumored features of Moto E4 are 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.25 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6737M SoC paired with Mali-T720MP2 GPU. The phone is expected to carry a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM expandable up to 128 GB. On the imaging front we will find an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP selfie snapper. But we should keep in mind that these are speculated specs and not officially confirmed yet.
