About OneNote

While Microsoft is easily the biggest name out there in the mainstream market for their Window OS on PC, not much can be said about their mobile ventures. Windows Phones have an almost 1.5% market share in the mobile industry, I guess it’s safe to say that Windows phones just aren’t popular.

With its dwindling market share and presence in the mobile segment, Microsoft launched various applications targeting the Google Play Store, one of them being the Microsoft OneNote. The app allows you to take and store notes via the form of text notes, photos, audio and video snippets, handwriting and similar content. With the latest update adding various other functionalities to the app.

While the Microsoft OneNote offers various features to its users, there are apps on the Play Store that are more popular (Read Evernote). Nevertheless, The OneNote is a brilliant app and with its native sync with your Windows PC, is a viable option.
