LG V30 price is expected to be $700

LG G6, announced earlier this year, was (is) a brilliant phone except it features a year-old Snapdragon 821 SoC, which is slightly less powerful when compared to the Snapdragon 835 SoC (which btw, powers most of the flagships launched this year).

The South Korean company is, however, getting ready to launch its next flagship handset, the LG V30 now. And this time around, it will be the Snapdragon 835 chip powering the device which will put the smartphone in direct competition with the Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8, HTC U11, and other upcoming Android flagship phones.

The LG V30, similar to the LG G6, will feature a FullVision display (LG’s way of referring to a near bezel-less display) but this time it will be slightly bigger in size, around 6-inch. Also, it will feature a plastic OLED panel and not the regular LCD one. Yes, LG is finally making the switch to OLED displays with the V30.

In addition, the smartphone is expected to bring a host of new features while retaining some of the features from its predecessors like the Quad DAC and more. In case you want to get a detailed idea of what the LG V30 will bring to the table, go ahead and click on this link.

Anyway, moving ahead, let’s now address the elephant in the room. How much will the LG V30 set you back by? Well, word has it that the company will be pricing the device somewhere close to $700 which although expensive, is pretty much acceptable when compared with the Galaxy Note 8 price.

Are you excited for the LG V30? Which one would you choose, the LG V30 or the Galaxy Note 8? Shoot your thoughts below in the comments section.

  1. I’m an LG fanboy so I’m both obligated and excited to get my hands on this new phone.
