Step 3. Now, download the SuperSU root package from above.
Step 4. We need SuperSU file on our LG V10. So, connect your LG V10 to PC and transfer the downloaded file to it.
Step 5. Boot your device into recovery mode. For this:
- Power off the device. Then wait for 4-5 seconds after screen goes off.
- Press and hold Volume down + Power button together until you see LG’s logo. Release them for like 1 second when you see LG’s logo, and then press and hold them both buttons again immediately.
You’ll enter recovery mode soon, and will see TWRP recovery.
Step 6. In TWRP, tap on Install button, and then select the SuperSU file you transferred earlier to the device. Then do the swipe action at bottom on next screen to confirm flashing the SuperSU file.
Step 7. When done, simply tap on Reboot System button to restart the device.
That’s it. Your LG V10 will be rooted once it has fully booted up. Look for the SuperSU app in the app drawer.
