LG Nexus 4 Images and Specs leak again. Have a glance at this beauty!

It’s been the week of LG Nexus 4 for sure. Heck, it’s certainly going to be the month of LG Nexus 4, also known as LG Optimus Nexus. Cool dudes over at a Russian site tech.onliner.by, got very lucky today as they were able to get hold of a prototype (i.e. test unit) of none other than LG Nexus 4. The test unit had its model number LGE960 written at back, with FCC stamps and all that, while confirming the Mako codename of the LG’s Nexus. Gladly, these guys weren’t shy of taking some snaps of the device, and upload them for the us to gaze at again and again.

Yes, it looks gorgeous — even with that iPhone-ish (or Galaxy S-ish) metal frame as its border. Looks-wise, LG Nexus 4 retains the overall design of Samsung Galaxy Nexus stunner, that we’ve simply come to adore of. The border shape is same as that of Galaxy Nexus, not bending in front or anything, just coming off from back, so it’s not at all awkward in looks. Look at it yourself! In fact, it still looks like good old Galaxy Nexus, especially in front.

On the back, it’s different. It appears to us that the LG Nexus 4 is sporting a kevlar back, or something of that sorts. Even if it’s plastic, there is lots of coating on it, perhaps to give it a premium touch.

LG Nexus 4 Specs

Apart from the looks, there’s also a lot said about the specs of LG Nexus 4, again – and we just can’t help running through it again and again, so here’s what it is that we mostly already know. The LG Nexus 4 packs in Snap Dragon 1.5 GHz quad-core S4 processor, 2 GB RAM, 4.7-inch screen (768 x 1280 pixels) and an 8 megapixel camera, contrary to 13 MP camera often rumored.

Now, a bummer. This prototype was seen running Android 4.1.2, not the Android 4.2 version of Android OS, also know as Key Lime Pie, so that’s a little bit worrying for android super-enthusiasts. But since it’s only a test unit, there is really non need to panic over this, because the final version should still have Key Lime Pie pre-installed, given how convincing rumors have gotten now.

No release date was mention in the rumor, so we’ll make do with the October 29 date we’ve heard before. For more info on LG’s Nexus, check out its benchmarks scores and full spec-sheet.
