LG Nexus 4 benchmarks are online!

Here we go again. The rumoured LG Nexus 4 is setting the Android blogosphere on fire, with one juicy leak after the other. In case you missed all the action around this fella, you can catch up on it here.

An XDA member who managed to get hold of an LG prototype phone from a random source, ran it through AnTuTu and Quadrant benchmark tests and posted pics of the results. The LG prototype device, model numbered LG-E960, scored a 9270 score on AnTuTu and a 4207 on the Quadrant test.

While the benchmark scores do not really appear earth-shaking, one must consider that the device is likely to be running pre-release firmware. Secondly, the owner claims that he has had the device for close to six months, and it is possible that the device hasn’t been updated since he got it. Thirdly, leaked specs for the LG Nexus indicate a 1.5 GHz quad-core SnapDragon S4 processor, which going by AnTuTu database results scores much, much higher than what we’re seeing here.

XDA members are still active on the thread trying to figure out more details, and I guess, also to verify whether this is the real deal or a prank. Either ways, we all enjoy a leak here and there, and if it happens to be an upcoming Nexus device, all the more so.
