LG Korea announces release schedule, G4 to go live on the 31st

We have been all hearing about LG’s upcoming flagship ” The LG G4″ from some time to come. While the company has been doing its best to make sure that the only snippets of information that originated came through it, we have still heard enough to make us very very curious about what the company’s next is going to be like.

A recent update that made its way through the LG Korea filters has finally confirmed the release date for the much awaited successor to the G series. According to the report the device is set to hit the markets on the 31st of May.

Not only that, the company is also offering additional benefits to customers in an effort to woo customers. These benefits include free screen replacement and a free 64GB microSD card for folks who pre order the device in Korea. The LG G4 comes with a 5.5” True HD IPS display that comes with the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for superior protection.

The device runs on the Snapdragon 808 chipset — a bit of a downslide there to be sure, but it probably means a cheaper price tag — supported by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of on-board storage.The camera as expected sports a resolution of 16 MP with an aperture of  f/1.8 for clicking wide angle images.

LG is also expected to offer a variety of back cover options such as leather and plastic in various colours. While thats all we know as of now, since the device has already been distributed for testing to select groups of users, we are sure to have some more information for you before its official launch.
