LG is giving an extra year of warranty free for LG G6

To woo its customers in the US, LG is now offering a two-year warranty on its flagship device, LG G6. Launched at MWC 2017, LG G6, initially came with just 1-year manufacturer warranty.

However, yesterday, LG announced that under its special program aka “Promise program”, both the existing and new users will be entitled to 2-year warranty.

Kindly note the extended warranty is simply an extension of current normal warranty, which covers manufacturing defects only and not the accidental damages like cracked screens. Plus, it is valid only in the US.

To avail the additional warranty, you need to register on LG Promise site (link below) with the correct documents. If you have purchased the device before June 15, you have 12 months to enroll for the extra year of warranty; however, if you purchase the device after June 15, you have to register your device within 90 days.
