What’s new in Android 10 for LG G8?

LG doesn’t shuffle things around too much, so, we should see almost all of Android 10’s standout features included in the bundle. System-wide dark theme, improved Gestures Navigation, better Sharing Menu, Live Caption, Notification Bubbles, better Permissions management, Accent Colors and Themes, and more — prepare for an exciting transition.

Besides that, LG is adding a ton of new features in its own custom skin that tops the Android 10 build from Google.

  1. WHAT ABOUT AMAZON VERSION ?

    1. Stefan Polihronopoulos

Just got the update on my Amazon version. 2/24/2020

  2. I have owned several LG phones, Monitors, TVs and DVD Devices. I purchased the LG G8 Thinq Unlocked and the screen cracked a few weeks after I bought it. I contacted LG and was quoted $250.00 as an estimate to repair the screen. I reached out to Corning the maker of the Gorilla Glass 5 covering the OLED screen and was pointed back to the manufacturer. This as well as the total lack of updates for both my phone and my TV has assured that I will never buy any more of their merchandise. I refuse to spend money supporting a company that does not stand behind their products. I hope this helps someone else make a decision to look elsewhere before losing their money wit as well as the total lack of updates for both my phone and my TV has assured that I will never buy any more of their merchandise.
