LG G6 OTA update rolling out in Korea with improved camera quality, better touch performance and more

After US, LG has started rolling out an update to flagship phone LG G6 in Korea. This is the first OTA update for LG G6 in Korea post its launch there on March 10th and brings a bunch of new improvements.

Weighing at 157MB, the update improves the camera quality and auto focus function when shooting movies. It further enhances the HDR10 image quality and brings improved gallery performance for fast file sharing.

Other features brought in by the LG G6 OTA update include improved OTG recognition rate, better touch performance and enhanced call quality. The phenomenon of no icon display when restoring home screen also gets a shot in the arm.

Meanwhile, we also witnessed T-Mobile LG G6 in the US receiving its first update on April 1st which arrives as software version H87210e.

LG launched G6 in February during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona followed by its release in Korea, Malaysia, the US and Canada. The premium phone has been put for pre-order in many countries and will soon be released in Australia and Russia.
