The AT&T LG Flex is receiving another KitKat update today when its users are eagerly waiting for an Android 5.0/5.1 Lollipop update. The new D95020g update is a security update, and weighs in at 21.4 MB.
Given that it’s still Android 4.4.2, it’s hard to feel excited about it, but for what it’s worth, the security fix might be crucial.
If you own a G Flex over at AT&T, then be sure to check for update under Settings > About device > Software update.
Don’t expect any UI changes or much-needed performance boost from the update, but we do hope it’s the update that will serve as base for Lollipop, meaning the next one could be the Lollipop update.
