Lenovo launches the A7000 in India, priced at $144

Lenovo, which has been pretty consistent in launching quality smartphones in spite of its recent entry into the market has announced another device. The A7000 was launched only recently by the company with a price tag and specs that point toward the device being aimed at the mid range customers.

The A7000 comes with a 5.5-inch 720p display and a 8/5 MP rear/front camera combo. The dual sim device is powered by a MediaTek MT6752 chipset that provides speeds of upto 1.7GHz. Memory wise, you have 2GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal memory and there is a Mali-T760MP2 GPU to take care of the graphics while a 2900 mAH battery promises longer run time. The whole package runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

All in all, coming with its price tag of Rs. 8,999 ($144) the device is nothing exceptional — unless you count the fact that it is the first phone in the world to have Dolby Atmos sound — yet is certainly worth consideration.

For those interested in buying or taking a closer peek the latest Lenovo offering, flipkart is the place to look since thats where the device will be put up for sale. However, the device will sold via flah sales so we would advice you to keep your eyes peeled and your ears tuned.
