Lenovo K80 with 4 GB RAM Announced at $290 to Take Over Asus ZenFone 2

Lenovo has come up with a new smartphone called Lenovo K80 that has been launched in the Chinese market for a pricing equivalent to $290. The device will be going on sale in the country from April 30 and it seems like Lenovo is aiming to take over the newly launched Asus ZenFone 2 lineup.

Detailing on its specifications, the Lenovo K80 boasts of a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display and it employs a 64 bit quad core Intel Atom processor paired with 4 GB of RAM as the ZenFone 2. The handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and it supports 4G LTE connectivity.

For imaging, the Lenovo K80 features a 13 MP main snapper that is teamed up with optical image stabilization. There is a juicy 4,000 mAh battery that can pump long lasting backup to the Lenovo smartphone.

Lenovo has announced the K80 in two variants – 32 GB and 64 GB of storage options. While the 64 GB variant comes with 4 GB of RAM and is priced at $290, the 32 GB variant of the Lenovo K80 comes with 2 GB of RAM and it carries a pricing equivalent to $240. As of now, Lenovo has not revealed anything regarding the global availability of this new smartphone.
