It’s no secret that Samsung is gearing up to launching the Galaxy Note 10.1, and now a new leak seems to confirm the specs of the upcoming beast of a device. A member of Korean Blog The Brave Post¬†apparently got his hands on the device and has posted the specs and pictures of the device for all to see.

While specs such as a 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 processor (the one found on the Galaxy S3) and a 10.1-inch display with 1280×800 resolution are already known thanks to previous leaks, the new leak reveal that the Note 10.1 will have 2 GB of RAM, similar to some of the US variants as well as the Japan variant of the Galaxy S3. Other specs revealed reveal a 5 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording and a 1.9 front facing camera, 16 GB of internal storage, a 7000 mAh battery, and Android 4.0.4 out of the box.

It is entirely possible that only the Korean variant comes with both a quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM as is the case with the Galaxy S3 in Japan, so other markets may see a 1 GB model of the Note 10.1, though we hope Samsung decides to make the 2 GB of RAM a standard for all variants of the device.

Rumor has it that the Galaxy Note 10.1 will be announced officially by Samsung on August 15th, though it remains to be seen whether that comes to pass. There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind by now that the Galaxy Note 10.1 will be one awesome device that will probably see many sales, so fingers crossed that an announcement comes soon, followed by an even quicker release.

Here are some more pictures of the Galaxy Note 10.1. Enjoy!
