[Leak] Download Android 5.0 Lollipop Factory Image for Nexus 7 (2012) “Nakasi”

Wow! Google never officially confirmed that Nexus 7 2012 would get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Yet, however, somebody tipped Android Police the official factory image for Lollipop for the Nexus 7 2012. And it wasn’t a prank! The factory images installs fine on the Nexus 7 2012 and indeed brings the great Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the first Nexus tablet.

The leaked factory image’s build number is LRX21P, which is in similar pattern to those of Nexus 9 (LRX21L) and Nexus Player (LRX21M) Lollipop factory images which we’ve received officially from Google so far. Also, this leak comes straight from Google servers, and it’s still up and running so Google’s is not even intending to put the link off.

By the looks of things, LRX21P build for Nexus 7 2012 looks to be the final build of Android 5.0 for Nexus 7 2012. Also, the release time for Lollipop factory images for Nexus devices is almost here too, which further strengthens the case that it’s indeed the final build.
