A new OTA update is available for the OnePlus 3 and 3T. The update is part of the OxygenOS Open beta program, and brings several changes to the UI and other system improvements.
OxygenOS Open beta 15 for the OnePlus 3 and OxygenOS Open beta 6 for the OnePlus 3T are now available for download. If you’re running the previous beta, you will receive the OTA update notification. These betas are based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The latest beta 15 and 6 feature a new Phone dialer and updated interface for incoming calls. With the new updates, you will not have to swipe down to answer a call, and swipe up to decline. The UI for Messages, Contacts, and Settings have been optimized.
There’s also a new action bar available for Settings and Messages. Optimizations have been made to Bluetooth, Night mode, battery notifications. Other bug fixes are also part of the update. We’ve included the download links for both the Open beta 15 and 6 for the OnePlus 3 and 3T, respectively.

Oxygen OS has steadily grown to become one of my favorite skins right now. Simple, unobtrusive and very practical. And the beta program so far has been very promising. Oneplus give attention to the little things. They have gone into so much trouble to ensure the scrolling through the app drawer is very smooth, as smooth as stock android. They hand picked the volume rockers based on small size variations to fit the phones perfectly without any rattling. These kind of little things that they give attention to is what has made the company come far and grow high. This ideology has gone far into making OOS as good as it is today. Always happy to see refreshed UI and changes
