Latest Gmail Android app update lets you change password and profile information from app itself

Finally, God has heard our prayers and thanks to that, Google has pushed this update with an awesome feature. What looks like a simple thing, unfortunately, wasn’t available in the Gmail Android app until now.

We are talking about changing the password from Gmail app itself. Yes, Google has released a new update for Gmail that now lets you change password and profile information for your account from the app itself.

You can now change things like profile information, password, privacy settings etc. basically almost all Google account settings from the Gmail app. Just head to Settings under Gmail app followed by a new setting dubbed as My account present at the top.

Further, the update also brings an updated look for swipe actions. When you swipe an email to archive or delete it, you will get “undo” option at the bottom.
