Jelly Bean Update for Samsung Galaxy S3 in Korea rolling out now

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 is now rolling out in Korea over the air and via Samsung‘s Kies software, and should be reaching every Galaxy S3 in the country in the coming few days.

Jelly Bean brings 30-40% faster app execution, a smoother and more responsive interface, ability to use voice typing when offline, expandable and actionable notifications, and of course Google Now, the intelligent voice assisted search application with automatic information based on user habits.

Be sure to check for the update manually if you haven’t received a notification about it yet from the Settings » About phone » Software updates menu, or connect your phone to the computer and check for the update in Kies. Let us know if any of you in Korea have received the update yet.

    1. Sadly, upgrades haven’t begun for S3 LTE yet. Only for Galaxy S3 without LTE so far.
