Huawei Watch 2 certified by Bluetooth SIG

Following the launch of the Huawei Watch 2 and its clearance at FCC, the device has finally been certified by Bluetooth SIG as well.

The €329 Huawei Watch is set to launch in Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany and China this March and will be followed by the US, UK, Russia and Australia April onward. With its shipping dates nearing, it is a positive signal that the smart-wear has completed all its certifications in time.

The Huawei Watch 2 consists of a 1.2-inch 390×390 display, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and 420mAh battery. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, it includes 4G connectivity, GPS, NFC and a heart rate sensor.

Huawei is rapidly becoming a major contender in almost every sector of technology. The Huawei Watch 2 is a prime example of Huawei’s commitment to the Android ecosystem as a whole and we can very well expect more techs and goodies from them in the near future.
