Huawei P10 press render leaked 3 days ahead of MWC launch

It is getting really tough to hold the horses of leaked news tight with the Mobile World Congress inching closer day by day. This can be looked at with two eyes- a sweet treat for users and newsmakers and a sour deal for the OEMs getting ready to showcase their hush-hush projects at MWC. This time it is the reliable tipster Evan Blass who has set loose the horses and the target is Huawei’s upcoming flagship smartphone P10.

Now, Huawei had officially declared to unveil P10 and its curved edged sibling P10 Plus on February 26th at a press event. Even before that, what is being called as press renders of P10 has surfaced online, giving us a better and genuine view of what it would look like, from all angles.

The flat screen with narrow bezels, which have been doing the rounds, remains while the dual cameras at the rear end with Leica brand name can be seen at the top end on the left hand side (looks a little odd as our eyes tend to find the cameras somewhere at the center). The flash remains at the top end center. Both of these, surprisingly end up taking very less amount of space. And with the fingerprint scanner not visible at the rear end of the phone, the entire back ends up showing only the Huawei branding.

The fingerprint scanner sits at the front embedded in the home button under the screen. This Huawei P10 phone definitely is legit, considering that the date and place shown on the on-display is February 26th (Sunday) and Barcelona.

Based on past rumors, we know that the P10 will sport a 5.5-inch display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. It will be powered by octa-core Kirin 960 chipset clocked at 2.3GHz CPU paired with Mali-G71 MP8 GPU. The phone will pack in 4GB/6GB of RAM with 32GB/64GB expandable storage. The camera resolution sits at 12MP and 8MP for rear and front snappers respectively. The device will be rocking the latest Android 7.0 Nougat without a doubt.

If the leaks are to be believed, the device could also be available in two color variants, Purple and Green, which are very unusual colors for a premium handset.
