It’s only been a few days since Huawei P10 images were leaked and now a second leak is out getting us one more photo of the device, in what appears to be deep black color. And that it could be Huawei P10 Plus. More on this later. Though, what’s more notable is the presence Leica branding this time around, a professional camera OEM with whom Huawei has partnered to bring the best camera experience possible on its phones.
But that’s not the only difference, the flash light appears in a round design, while on the earlier it was more like P9, it’s predecessor. Is Huawei looking for a design change between its regular P10 and the Plus variant — after all, that is something we already see on Huawei Mate 9 and its Pro variant.
Because the black colored P10 sports a fingerprint sensor on the back, we would like to believe it’s a regular P9 (this article’s title notwithstanding), as this would be in line with the Mate 9 that harbors the fingerprint sensor on its back, while also sporting on-screen buttons up front.
Mate 9 pro features Note 7-like fingerprint sensor, and doesn’t have on-screen keys, something Huawei could repeat in P10, but would dub it as Huawei P10 Plus (the original P9 a Plus variant, not Pro).
All in all, the phone looks sleek and solid looking with its pleasant curves around the edges. The black looks to be in two shades, with the matte shade on top featuring the Leica branding. The Huawei P10 is seriously heavy duty when it comes to its specifications. So we can expect it to perform on par with smartphones of the same class.
