The Chinese manufacturer Huawei is aiming to get a better position it the Western markets. Initially, the firm started with the launch of budget devices, but in the recent years the firm has been quite serious about launching premium high-end devices such as Mate and P lineup of smartphones.
Lately, there are talks that Huawei will be partnering with Google to launch the upcoming Nexus smartphone. As per the rumors, Huawei’s Nexus smartphone will be based on the upcoming Mate 8 prototype. There are claims that the device will be launched this fall.
Talking of the design, there are reports that the Huawei Mate 8 will feature a premium design and superior build quality with materials such as metal and glass. The Nexus smartphone that will be launched later this year is likely to boast of a 5.7 inch 2K display and employ a Snapdragon 810 chipset from Qualcomm.
Though it is said to make use of the Snapdragon 810 chipset, it remains doubtful as there are numerous overheating claims. Moreover, Huawei is known for its in-house Kirin chipsets and there is an increased possibility for us to witness the use of a high-end Kirin processor in the upcoming Nexus smartphone.
