Huawei Mate 10 to feature Kirin 970 chip built with 10nm process

Huawei has already launched its first flagship, the Huawei P10 earlier this year. And, considering the fact that we are just about to enter the second half of the year, most of the eyes are now set on the company’s next flagship, the Huawei Mate 10.

One of the leaks which surfaced online a few weeks ago has suggested that the smartphone will feature a near bezel-less display like the current day flagships do.

Today’s leak, while not revealing anything about the display, suggests that the Mate 10 will be powered by the company’s in-house Kirin 970 chipset built on the 10nm process.

The Kirin 970 chipset is speculated to feature an octa-core CPU with four ARM Cortex-A73 cores and four ARM Cortex-A53 cores. Word has it that the chipset could also get Cortex-A75 cores.

As mentioned earlier, the chipset will be built on 10nm process. The Mate 10 is tipped to rock a 6.0-inch display at the front. It will reportedly boot Android 8.0 straight away and feature dual camera setup at the front as well as the back.
