Another batch of Android 7.0 Nougat beta update is being seeded out by Huawei to Maimang 5 and G9 Plus devices. The build number for the Nougat beta update is B331 and it’s being rolled out to select 1000 users only who have signed for the beta program.
To be able to get the new B331 update, one needs to have either B150, B159 or B166 firmware build installed on their device.
Huawei started the Android 7.0 Nougat beta release for Maimang and G9 Plus as early as December last year. Notably, the Huawei Maimang 5 is the Chinese variant of the G9 Plus.
This Nougat beta update should be completed soon after which Huawei will begin rolling out the official Nougat OTA to these devices.

Meanwhile, Huawei is also seeding out the Android Nougat beta for Huawei Nova Plus and Honor 6X as a FUT Test (Friendly User Test) build.
