Huawei Ascend D2 specs leaked out
Huawei took the stage in an event in Shandong, China and unveiled their upcoming Ascend D2 Android smartphone, a 5-inch device that sports a quad-core 1.5GHz processor and runs on the latest version of Android, aka Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Other specs of the Ascend D2, which sports an “edge-to-edge” 5″ display on the front, include a 13-megapixel camera, 1.3 front facing camera, and a 3000 mAh battery. The type of processor or the display resolution weren’t mentioned, but expecting a Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset and a full HD display won’t go amiss, as those would make the Ascend D2 a serious competitor to the Oppo Find 5.
The pricing or availability details weren’t announced, though it will reportedly be launched some time in 2013 in China, with support for China Telecom’s 3G network. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for more details on the Ascend D2, though I won’t be too hopeful about it ever reaching markets outside China.
