HTC U11 is now official

So the suspense has finally ended. HTC has taken the curtains off its flagship device at a live event in China and officially unveiled the U11 smartphone. Real live images of the HTC U11 have started doing the rounds giving us a proper look at what HTC has brought to the stage this time.

HTC U11 has been launched in five color options — Amazing Silver, Sapphire Blue, Brilliant Black, Ice White, and Solar Red – with a glossy and shining back. The official specsheet has finally arrived putting all past speculations to rest.

HTC U11 – Capturing the Brilliant U

So the HTC U11 will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor. There will be two versions – one with 4GB RAM and 64GB in-built storage for overseas market and the other with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM to be sold in domestic market. There’s a 12MP UltraPixel3 rear camera with impressive features such as f / 1.7 aperture, optical image stabilization and dual LED. In the front sits a 16MP selfie shooter. Notably, HTC U11 has received a score of 90 by DxOMark which surpasses the scores of Google Pixel (89) and also Samsung Galaxy S8 (88). This means that the cameras on board this flagship HTC phone are the best seen so far.

HTC U11 Edge Sense – It’s Only Natural

To keep the juices flowing, there’s a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support and IP67 rating which makes it waterproof. For great audio experience HTC has equipped its flagship device with the latest BoomSound HiFi tech and 3D audio recording. The phone runs Android 7.1 Nougat.

Coming to the design, the live images show a not so minimal bezel HTC U11. The fingerprint scanner is in the front. The phone comes with HTC Edge Sense with pressure sensing bezels and HTC Sense Companion AI.
