HTC U Ultra pre-orders are now shipping in USA

The HTC U Ultra is the Taiwanese tech giant’s 2017 flagship and while the device has been taking flak for removing the headphone jack, HTC loyalists have ferociously protected the company and have even went ahead and pre-ordered the device as a show of confidence in the device manufacturer.

It seems that HTC has decided to pamper their fans by shipping the pre-order devices two days well before the general shipments start rolling out.

In a tweet by @HTC USA, the company officially announced the shipments to start from Thursday onward with pre-orders shipping out a few days beforehand. The gesture, however small, is much appreciated.

The HTC U Ultra packs in the Snapdragon 821 processor, a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display, 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of in built storage which can be further expanded via microSD card. The camera included is a 12MP ultrapixel sensor while the front facing shooter is a 16MP sensor.

The device is powered by a 3000mAh battery and comes with Android Nougat out of the box. The incorporation of its new Sense Companion assistant into the U Ultra will also be something we would have to watch out for.
