The HTC One X+ will be coming with a beefed up version of the Tegra 3 quad-core processor, that is for certain. But it seems the beefing up has been done quite nicely, as according to Paul O’Brien of Modaco’s source, the One X+ gained a score upwards of 7500 in Quadrant and 14000 in the AnTuTu benchmark, which are higher than any other device on the market (except for the LG Optimus G perhaps).
Two more benchmark apps used were Linpack and NenaMark (the latter being a graphics benchmark), where the One X+ scored a very respectable score of 150 MFLOPS and 55 FPS respectively (though both are lower than the Galaxy S3‘s, while matching the original One X). With the software on the device not yet finalized, there’s an all too real possibility that we will see these scores increase a lot in the final build.
Other specs of the One X+ are rumored to be 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 1800 mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 4.5 out of the box. No official announcements have been made, but going by the steady stream of leaked info on the One X+, HTC has to come out with it sooner or later.
