HTC One Max ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery: Downloads and Step-by-step Guide

So, you have taken the big step and unlocked the bootloader of your HTC One Max. And now you are lost and ask “Now what”. Well, now you will need to install a custom Recovery. Why is that, you ask? On HTC One Max, the stock recovery is useless. So we flash a Custom recovery.

A Custom recovery is like an operating system in itself. It can do all the cool things like Flashing Custom ROMs, making Nandroid backups, restoring from backups, etc. Here we will talk flashing the most famous and reliable recovery which comes in two versions: full-touch and the non-touch classic CWM.

WARNING!

So, make sure both of them are adequately charged and that no power interruption takes place when the process is undergoing — at least 50% battery of the device and laptop is what we would recommend.
