Let us start with the camera — because that’s what you might be looking forward to learn about first of all. Well, it’s reported to be a 16MP shooter with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), doing away with the UlraPixel one (4MP/more) that we found in One M7 and One M8. Other cool HTC One Spec that leaked out include cool 5.5″ Quad-HD display, 3GB RAM, a microSD card slot, massive 3500 mAh battery, storage options of 32/64/128GB, and — you may want more in this case — Snapdragon 805 processor.
Yes, the 805 processor from Qualcomm is the latest you would find in any gadget today, but by the time HTC One M9 hit shelves, the already-announced Snapdragon 810 will be take that honor, and it’s reasonable for you and us to expect the best-in-market for the One M9 from HTC.
While it’s all in rumors, we guess many people will be happy to find the very mention of 16MP camera in place an UltraPixel camera, which last time around in HTC One M8, shot pics at 4MP resolution — a little weird many a times.
3GB RAM and storage options are cool and modern, and so is 5.5-inch QHD display. You find all those in LG G3 too, btw, more or less with storage options. The existence of a microSD card slot will make some people happy too, who can’t live without it and like it as a cheaper option for additional storage.
Beyond all this, it’s the presence of a hefty 3500 mAh battery that is looking like a real improvement to us. It’s a nice thinking by HTC to provide the 5.5″ display with such battery, because it will indeed need it. We’ve already seen with LG’s G3 that 3000 mAh battery is only good enough for a 5.5″ QHD display, thus additional 500 mAh battery should help it last more than a day easily. A great addition, we must say!
Also mentioned in the leak is the presence of Android 5.0 Lollipop, which in fact was safe to presume even without  a mention in the leak. Take the HTC Sense as granted, too. HTC have already talked about updating the One M8 to Lollipop soon, btw.

HTC One M9 Release Date
The HTC One M9 is expected to be announced in Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona next year in March. We expect the device to hit the shelves in next month, April 2015, in most countries except U.S. where it could be in the next month or two.
That’s it about the initial rumors on the HTC One M9.
A little bit about the HTC One M9 Prime, too..
Well, the One M9 Prime is also said to be in the works, but no details on it yet. Nothing on release date, neither on specs. Could it be the one with improved 8UtraPixel camera with same specs as One M9? Or is it a 6-inch M9 with otherwise same specs? We gotta wait for next rumor to spill up, right?
