The HTC One M8 is finally receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in Europe. HTC’s Senior Global Online Communications Manager, Jeff Gordon, confirmed this on his Twitter account today.
And just in time, popular ROM developer LlabTooFeR has also shared details on the lollipop update that’s rolling out. The HTC One M8 Lollipop OTA update carries the version number 4.16.401.10 and is 780 MB in size.

If you haven’t received the OTA update notification yet on your One M8 in Europe, then head over to Settings » About phone » Software updates and hit the Check for update button.
Android 5.0 Lollipop brings a ton of new features like multiple user support, screen pinning, smart lock and trusted devices and many more. The Lollipop update for your One M8 will also bring Material Design to Sense UI, making it more flat and beautiful.
