HTC Droid DNA now available at Verizon stores

The HTC Droid DNA, a heavily speculated device which was the subject of many a leak and discussion, was finally announced by Verizon last week. Verizon mentioned that the 1080p diplay touting smartphone would be available for purchase starting November 21st, and true to its word, you can now buy the HTC Droid DNA for $199 with a standard two-year contract, from Verizon stores across the nation or online.

Here are the standout specs of the HTC Droid DNA listed for your reference:

  • 5″ 1080p Super LCD3 display
  • 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Krait processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • 8 megapixel rear camera
  • 2 megapixel front-facing camera
  • 16GB internal storage
  • WiFi a/b/g/n, HSPA, LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC
  • 2020 mAh battery
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Quite a beast they’ve got there. And that Super LCD3 1080p display is definitely to die for. Angry Birds Star Wars is going to take on a whole new life on that gorgeous screen, don’t you think?

  1. Why do you keep posting that it has a microSD slot? It does not.

    1. Thanks for pointing that out. Genuine oversight. Corrected now

      1. It’s a mystifying and irritating decision on the part of Verzon, because the Butterfly J it’s based on DOES have microSD. It’s also the deal-breaker for me for this phone. The rumored Sony Odin sounds promising, though, so hopefully that will have microSD.

        1. hopeful yes…and then there’s the Sony Yuga as well
