HTC Desire 10 Pro receives update to version 1.18.401.20

A new update has just hit the HTC Desire 10 Pro. The update arrives as software version 1.18.401.20, and is seeding over the air to the HTC device. It bundles in various system enhancements and stability improvements over the previous build. Certain bugs and issues identified from older builds have been dealt with in this update.

The update is fairly large, weighing in at 489MB. So, it is preferable to download it over WiFi to save on additional data charges from carrier. We’re not sure whether this update includes the latest security patch or not. But one thing stands out, the update is still Marshmallow based.

Nougat may arrive by this year, possibly towards the end, but then again that’s just our guess. If you haven’t already received the update notification on your Desire 10 Pro, you can try manually checking in Settings » About » Software update.
