HTC 10 leak reveals Android 7.0 Nougat update in screenshots

Our favorite — and trusted — HTC rumor machine we know of as LlabTooFer just got us screenshots of the Android Nougat update for the HTC 10. Looks like the release is indeed very, very close, and could arrive by the end of November 2016 as was previously expected.

In the screenshots below, you can see the device running Nougat update. Even though the ‘About device’ screen isn’t available, the suggestion in the Settings screen about the ‘Airplane mode’ means that it’s your favorite Android OS update, the 7.0.

It’s easy to notice that the company has — so rightly! — chosen to remain as close to stock as possible with is HTC 10 Android 7.0 update, with only slightest of modifications visible. Like a new icon for Phone, Messaging and camera on the launcher.

All in all, it looks like the HTC 10 Nougat update will be live pretty soon, and it could be the stable release directly, unlike the beta release we saw on Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, Honor 8, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XZ, along with first one to do so, Moto G4 and Moto Z Play.

Keep an eye on our HTC 10 firmware page, as we would share the Nougat downloads there as and when it arrives.
