The flagship war is back again. Just yesterday, Samsung announced the next version of the Galaxy Note Series that is Samsung Galaxy Note 8. If you have been keeping track, LG will unveil its LG V30 device on August 31 and then in September, we will have iPhone 8. And it doesn’t end here. Google is yet to play its card.
Google is expected to launch the next version of its Google Pixel series this year in October. Guess what? We have some information about the specs and the launch date.

According to Evan Blass, a renowned tipster, Google will announce the Google Pixel 2 series on October 5, interestingly a day after first Google Pixel series was announced in 2016.
Further, he says, yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 836 processor will power the device. Snapdragon 836 is the incremental update of the powerful Snapdragon 835 processor. Google Pixel series last year as well was powered by an incremental update of Snapdragon 820 processor i.e. Snapdragon 821.

Google Pixel 2 series will have two devices under its banner – Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL. The names are not confirmed yet, Google could name them anything. The recent leaks suggest that while the smaller Google Pixel 2 will have thick bezels like the first generation, the Google Pixel 2 XL will have smaller bezels and will be manufactured by LG unlike smaller one which will be manufactured by HTC.
Also, phones under Google Pixel series will be the first devices to get Android Oreo out of the box. If not 8.1, they will definitely get Android Oreo 8.0.
