Google Contacts app can now be downloaded by devices running Android Lollipop or higher

Earlier exclusive to Nexus, Pixel, Android One, and Google Play Edition devices only, Google Contacts app is now available for non-Google devices as well. All Android phones and tablets running version 5.0 Lollipop or up can now download Google Contacts app from Play Store.

Google Contacts app gives your device more of a pure Android feel by enabling a clean way to view your contacts. The app comes with Material Design and has been updated to version 2.1.2.164543808 which makes it available for any device with Android 5.0 Lollipop or higher.

The updated version also comes with a new feature which makes it capable of merging duplicate contacts from within the contacts list. Google Contacts app also gives automatic suggestions for adding info to your existing contacts and backs up the contacts in your Google Account to the cloud.

The app allows you to view contacts by account and makes it easy to add and edit contacts and related information. You can download the app at Play Store or install manually by visiting APKMirror.
