Gionee S10 specs: Snapdragon 435 powers high end while standard variant gets Helio P25

Gionee S10, the successor to the S9, has been doing rounds on the internet quite frequently in the recent past. For instance, it surfaced online twice just in the past three days. And guess what, it appeared online once again today.

This time though, it reveals a slightly different specs. So far, the Gionee S10 has been rumored to be powered by the MediaTek MT6755 SoC. However, the latest rumor suggests that the smartphone won’t come with the MT6755 chipset. Instead, it will feature the Snapdragon 435 chipset (high-end variant) and an Helio P25 SoC (standard variant).

Other features of the smartphone include a dual camera setup on the back (13MP + 13MP), a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, a 3,700mAh battery, and Android 7.0 Nougat.

For an entry-level handset, the Gionee S10 sure looks like a pretty good bargain.

Earlier rumors suggested that the smartphone will be launched in two variants: a standard as well as a Plus variant. Perhaps, the Gionee S10 Plus could be the one with Snapdragon 435 chipset.

We can’t confirm anything until the company launches the smartphone on May 26. So, take this piece with a pinch of salt.
