Gionee unveiled its recent flagship smartphone called Gionee Elife S7 earlier this month at the MWC 2015 tech show. In just a month’s time, this device is all set to enter the Indian smartphone arena.
Well, Gionee has sent out media invites for an event to happen in India on April 4 to launch the Elife S7 in the country. As of now, there is no information on its pricing and availability information and we will know the same during the handset’s launch. We can expect the device to go on sale in the coming weeks.
To refresh on its specifications, the Gionee Elife S7 sports a 5.2 inch AMOLED Full HD display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device makes use of a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6572 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage capacity.
Imaging hardware of the Gionee flagship smartphone include a 13 MP main snapper that is teamed with up Sony IMX214 sensor and LED flash for an enhanced performance. Also, there is an 8 MP selfie snapper onboard for video conferencing. Connectivity aspects of the Gionee Elife S7 smartphone include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG and dual SIM functionality.
The device is juiced up by a 2,750 mAh battery that can render a decent backup to it. Gionee Elife S7 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based Amigo 3.0.
