Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) passes through FCC, release nears

After TENAA, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) with the model number SM-T385C has now been cleared by FCC indicating that its launch is imminent.

As usual, FCC listing doesn’t reveal much about the device. The good news, however, is that we know most of the details surrounding the tablet, thanks to the earlier leaks.

To begin with, the budget-friendly Tab A will come with an 8.0-inch display with a resolution of 1200 x 800 pixels. It will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 427 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz.

As for as memory is concerned, users will get 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage space. The imaging department will be taken care of by an 8MP sensor at the back, while at the front will be a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

The tablet will most likely ship with Android 7.0 Nougat on board. There’s currently no word on the battery capacity of the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017).
