Apple may have tried every ounce of its power to stop Samsung from launching its new Galaxy Tab 7.7, but for what it’s worth, the Tab 7.7 just cleared the FCC gates. Although it doesn’t guarantee launching of Tab 7.7 in US but it certainly is a very positive development for Tab 7.7 hopefuls — which are many many in numbers, including us.

The version passed by FCC is most probably 16GB Wi-Fi version as there where no signs of wireless bands anywhere in the FCC docs.

Known as GT-P6810 in Samsung quarters, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 Specifications are nothing short of godly — 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, gorgeous 7.7 inch Super AMOLED HD display (1280 x 800), Android 3.2, 1 GB RAM, 5100 mAh battery and thickness and weight of just 7.89 mm and 335 grams: making it the lightest, and brightest tablet. It would have been thinnest too, but Toshiba’s Excite (7.7 mm thick) took that crown by the narrowest margin ever of 1.89 mm. We know this difference doesn’t matter much, practically, but that’s that.

So, have you decided what you want from Santa this Christmas? Well I certainly have, and you know what that is !!!!!! [hint: above]
