CyanogenMod 9 (CM9) coming soon on Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS)

CyanogenMod 9 isn’t a real, for now. But what’s sure is that the next version of this great custom ROM will bring the Android 4.0 to all devices supported, although that would happen gradually. We just got confirmation that Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 will get an Ice Cream Sandwich based CyanogenMod soon — the CyanogenMod aka Steve Kondik, himself said this on his Google+ page.
We already have CM7 available for many many android devices, whether officially supported or not by the team, and it runs Android 2.3 version of android, called Gingerbread. Since Google never released AOSP code of Android 3.x (Honeycomb, CM8 never came.
A little while ago, we heard that CM team will skip the CM8 altogether and will instead bring the much-wanted Android 4.0 based CM, dubbing it as CyanogenMod 9. Well, that could happen soon with Galaxy tab, which if that happens, could become the first tablet — in fact the first device — to get new CyanogenMod , whether it’s called CM9, or not.
Now you’re feeling proud that you bought this tablet, right?
