Samsung Galaxy S8 production hits a roadblock, issues with Snapdragon 835 processor reported

As per a leak from a Chinese source, Samsung might be having trouble building the internal hardware for Galaxy S8 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor and other internal chips (from Samsung) on the device.

The report suggests of incompatibility with integrating Snapdragon 835 chip with other Samsung chips on the Galaxy S8. The Korean manufacturer is probably facing issues packaging the Snapdragon 835 with the internal hardware design of the Galaxy S8, causing issues with baseband.

Snapdragon 835 is the latest and most powerful mobile processor chip til date from Qualcomm. The chipset is said to featured in multiple high-end flagship devices from various manufacturers in the coming year.

Notably, Samsung also had issues with Snapdragon 820 processor chips last year. And that cost Qualcomm a good amount of damage. Hope the two manufacturers figure out a way to resolve the issue with Snapdragon 835 chips on the Galaxy S8 and resume production tests.
