A new video has surfaced online that shows the upcoming Galaxy S8 running through the AnTuTu benchmark. The benchmarking app seems to be running on the device itself, as you can see the model number SM-G950
We have embedded the full test video below, which runs all kinds of graphics and processor intensive tests on the device. The results are pretty amazing, and that’s what we expect from a flagship device from Samsung.
The Galaxy S8 scored an amazing 205284, which is much higher than the currently number 1 iPhone 7 Plus. The AnTuTu result list shows the iPhone 7 Plus scored 181807. The OnePlus 3T is the top performer among the Android phones, with a score of 162423. So yes, that Snapdragon 835 chipset is surely a performer.
Other benchmark results have also shown that the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are much faster than other existing devices. The new Galaxy S8 smartphones from Samsung will be announced on March 29 and go on sale in the first week of April.
